The Oase Biotec Pond filters use a combination of structured foams of fine and coarse grades to produce a high level of mechanical filtration. The Oase Biotec pond filter utilises Bio Media to provide the biological filtration. Outlet from the tank is approximately half way up the tank enabling partial burying to help conceal your filter equipment. This filter takes the quality of the Biotec range of pond filters and adds many extra features to create a superb filter. The Biotec 30 includes 2 rows of large brushes, which are sloped to encourage settlement of waste in the base. The water then passes through the biotecs, 5 upright woven mat screens of different pore size, after which the very fine waste is filtered by 7 cartridge filters which are twice the size of the Biotec 10 cartridge. The Biotec pond filter has a 50mm drain (valve supplied) below the brush chamber and a small drain valve near the outlet. With the inlet at the top and the outlet near the middle the filter can be partially buried (provided access the to valves is possible) enabling the large tank to be partially hidden. A very impressive filter.
