With the Oase Screenex filters, Oase have once again set high standards for technology and quality within the pond industry. Simple operation, fast, clean maintenance and an outstanding filtration result are the unique features of these new filters. A specially designed sieve, the “Screenex”, retains all debris particles up to a size of 100 micron, which are pumped into the filter. After which the water trickles back through a special mat where it is enriched with oxygen, it falls into the chamber below, flows through the filter zones and then reaches the next filter chamber “Individual Chamber”. The nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacteria present in the pond water settle and multiply in the oxygen rich zones (blue sponges) and in the oxygen poor zones (red sponges and individual chamber). The individual chamber situated just in front of the outlet, so called “individual” because every customer has the choice, which filter material to insert (ie Oase Phosless). The chamber is equipped as standard with Zeolite. Supplied with a plunger to allow for easy cleaning of the foam cartridges.
The Bitron C range of UV's are the result of many years of intensive research, which have culminated in this state of the art design. These ultra violet clarifiers are supplied with one inlet and two outlets. Both outlets have regulator values and by adjusting these you can control the amount of water which passes over the light. This enables the most efficient use of the light giving the best results. The build up of limescale in an ultra violet is well known for substantially reducing the effectiveness of a unit. This problem had been overcome in the Bitron C in two ways. Firstly the permanent magnets which are installed on all but the 9c and 11c units, reduce the build up limescale in the whole pond system including pumps. Secondly a continuously spinning cleaning device, which is powered using the water flow, ensures that no build up, even silt, starts on the quartz sleeve. Each model has an integrated indicator light or window allowing you to quickly see if the bulb is working. Supplied with a 2 year guarantee, hose clips and a blanking cap if the two outlets are not required.
The Oase Aquamax has a specially formed impeller, which handles even strongly polluted water. The new option for two inlets (not on the 2000) allows, for a remote strainer or skimmer to be used. Using the remote strainer or skimmer reduces the likelihood of 'dead' areas and increases the speed with which pond waste is collected. Low wattage makes them cost effective to run. The 4000 -16000 are supplied with 10m of mains cable, hosetails, remote strainer cage and 1 x 38mm, 32mm, 25mm plastic hoseclips. The Aquamax range is offered with a 3 year warranty, which can be extended to 5 years free of charge upon request to Oase.
